Looking for a new challenge?
Here at the centre we definately need your help! With over a hundred birds of prey on site, there are opportunities for your involvement in all manner of tasks -feeding & cleaning, working with the handling & flying birds, helping out with the babies, attending shows & weddings, gardening & maintenence work…the list is almost endless.
You don’t need any previous experience; just a willingness to get stuck in & ability to commit to regular volunteering whether it be once a week or once a month – come along & learn on the job!
Several of our long term volunteers have achieved their Beginning Falconry Lantra award, using the training given to enhance their skills & knowledge in this area. Whilst Lantra no longer offer this award, we have developed our own certificated training to cover all aspects of bird welfare and falconry which we offer long-term volunteers.
